How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

 

My Answer:

If there are more things I like in a book than I dislike, then I will try and finish the book. But if I just can’t get past certain things, or I’m not feeling it, I will just DNF it.

What do you do with your books after you’re done reading them?

 

My Answer:

When I finish them, I keep them on my e-reader or bookshelf. On rare occasions I will allow one of my close friends to borrow them. If it is a book I did not really care for, I may give it away or donate it to the library.

Book Vacay: Where is the best destination reading spot for you? (Where do you like to go to read other than your home)

My Answer:

I normally do the majority of my reading at home in my room or in my gazebo in the backyard. But on those rare occasions that I feel like venturing from my home, I like to go to the park and read. The beach is another awesome place to read, but I live closer to the park, so there you have it.

This weeks Question:

What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback, etc?

My Answer:

I prefer eBooks the majority of the time that I read. I feel like I have more options in terms of books and the different genres to choose from right at my fingertips.

I do however also enjoy reading physical books, because there are times when holding an actual book is just awesome. When that happens, I choose hardcover over paperbacks. I think they look nicer and are a bit sturdier. LOL.

Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?

My Answer:

When I first heard the song Ex-Factor by Lauryn Hill, I immediately thought of Lexi and Jack from Avoiding Commitment by K.A. Linde. I think it expresses their dysfunctional relationship perfectly. I absolutely love it.

We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

My Answer:

I  would love to go to BEA. I have always wanted to go to New York ever since I can remember. It’s on my bucket list.  Combine that with a huge book expo and it would be like I was in Heaven.  Meeting authors, publishers, fellow book lovers/bloggers and getting the chance to do a little exploring in NY would be an awesome experience.
