It only takes a second, a fraction of a second, to forever change your life. That moment hap-pened to me years ago. I did something you can’t take back, and I’d do it again. It’s a secret I’ll take to my grave—which is probably sooner rather than later—and that’s okay. I live with my choices.

Three things I’ve learned—bad things happen to good people, life isn’t fair, and the bad guy doesn’t get the girl. And I’m most definitely the bad guy.

I’ve always made my own decisions. I’ve never apologized for them, and I never will. Regret is an emotion I’ve never had to face.

Until now. Until her.

She once told me that what I did, killing people for a living, wasn’t good for my soul. I told her I was beyond saving. The truth is that I’m not worth saving. Not anymore.

But when I look in her eyes, I wish I was the man she deserves, the man she loves.

My brother.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TURN ON A DIME – KADE’S TURN is a companion novel to book two of The Kathleen Turner Series: TURN TO ME and is not meant to be read as a standalone novel. It is strongly recom-mended to read TURN TO ME prior to KADE’S TURN.
Turn on a Dime – Kade's Turn is finally here. I was very excited for his story to be told. As a reminder, this book is a companion book to book 2, Turn to Me. I did not mind it all all because I absolutely love Kade. I'm not sure how sold I was on him at the beginning, but through the course of this series, he's wormed his way into my heart. I like both Blane and Kade, but Kade is my favorite.
This book begins when Kade first meets Kathleen at the courthouse, where is attacked by a psychopath. As soon as he spotted Kathleen, he seemed to fall for her. But of course she isn't even close to being his usual type of woman.
Where Kathleen is sweet, innocent, and a bit naive. Kade is the bad boy...cunning and dangerous. Complete opposites.
It was also great to see Kade's relationship with Blane through his eyes. These two brothers may differ in opinion often, but it is very obvious how much they care about the other and how they would do anything for each other.
This book was a great chance to relive the story from Turn to Me in a different way. I enjoyed every page of it. I'm so sad that the series has ended, but look forward to what else Tiffany Snow has in store for her readers.
P.S. I have some great goodies to share with you guys today. I was able to interview Tiffany Snow for this blog tour, plus there is a giveaway below that you need to enter before you go!
*Warning: If you haven’t read book 5, Point of No Return, then please don’t read question #3!*
RATING: 4½  out of 5.
Interview with the Author
1. What will you miss most about leaving The Kathleen Turner Series behind?
The characters. I love writing Blane, Kathleen, and Kade. They've lived inside my head for three years. Saying goodbye to them is hard. It's kind of like family or friends that you know are happy and well so that's a good thing, but it's sad too because you won't ever see them again.
2. Do you have a favorite moment in the series?
I have lots of favorite moments in the series, but one that I like to read over and over is in POINT OF NO RETURN when Kade steps into the bar in Kathleen's hometown after a month-long absence. Her reaction - seeing Kade through the eyes of the locals there - I just loved that. (He's such a badass. lol!)
3. Are you happy with how the series ended or do you wish you could have done something differently?
I am absolutely 100% happy with how I ended the series. Throwing a random wife and kid(s) with Blane at the end would have seemed weird and pandering, though I know a lot of readers wanted exactly that for him. His ending was more poignant, and I feel it suited what he and Kathleen had together. I wouldn't change a thing.
4. What do you enjoy most about being a writer?
Living inside my head and falling in love over and over again with the characters I create.
5. What can your readers look forward to next?
The TANGLED IVY TRILOGY begins Dec. 16th with IN HIS SHADOW:
Author Bio
I love to write and am thrilled to be a part of the Amazon Montlake family. My debut novel, NO TURNING BACK, is the first book in The Kathleen Turner Series. I write about things I love to read myself - a heroine who could be a neighbor or best friend; two men who each portray their own version of darkness and light, each vying for her affection; and a story that focuses as much on the characters as it does the suspense. NO TURNING BACK, TURN TO ME, TURN-ING POINT, OUT OF TURN and POINT OF NO RETURN currently comprise The Kathleen Turner Series.  There is also a companion novel to NO TURNING BACK entitled TURN ON A DIME - BLANE'S TURN. TURN ON A DIME - KADE'S TURN releases August 25, 2014.  My new series, The Tangled Ivy Trilogy starts with the release of IN HIS SHADOW, set to release December 16, 2014.
As for me, I've been reading romance novels since I was way too young to read such things, have an unhealthy obsession for all things Doctor Who, prefer Pepsi to Coke and Absolut to both, think men who drink girly cocktails are wusses, have learned to never stop believing in my beloved St. Louis Cardinals, and can recite the entire scripts of When Harry Met Sally and Apol-lo 13. George Washington is cool, Bon Jovi still rocks the house, and Bruce Willis is the ultimate alpha-male hero. Most of all, romance never, ever gets old.
Book Spotlight: Turn on a Dime – Blane’s Turn (Kathleen Turner #1.5) by Tiffany Snow
Blane Kirk is a Navy SEAL turned high-powered attorney with old money and an even older pedigree. Yes, he plays the field, changing women as often as he changes his ties, but they’re not complaining. He has only two rules – 1) Don’t date employees and 2) Don’t get emotionally involved. Those rules have served him well. He sees no reason to change his ways, until his Runner, an employee in his law firm named Kathleen Turner, does an unexpected face plant in his lap.Kathleen’s too young, too innocent, and suddenly much too vulnerable when her friend is murdered and Blane knows she could be next. Keeping her alive means keeping her close, but can Blane keep her safe...from him? Kathleen’s like no woman he’s ever met, and protecting her could be the one thing he never expected that would make his life turn on a dime.
TURN ON A DIME – BLANE’S TURN is a companion novel to NO TURNING BACK, Book One in The Kathleen Turner Series.
TURN ON A DIME – KADE’S TURN will be released in the Fall of 2013.
Book Excerpt:
He knocked on Kathleen’s door, waiting impatiently for her to answer. His skin was practically twitching at the idea that she wasn’t safe. It was with relief that he saw the door open and she stood there, unhurt.
Kathleen didn’t say anything, just stepped back so Blane could enter. He could tell at once she was in shock. Her face was stark white, her eyes barely seeming to focus on anything.
Blane took her arm and led her to the battered couch, sitting next to her and taking her hands in his. They were freezing and fine tremors shook her, though she seemed wholly unaware of it.
“Your hands are like ice, Kathleen,” Blane said. “Tell me what happened.” He gently rubbed her hands, trying to ground her before she recounted her tale. Blane had lost count of the times he’d done this with family members and friends of victims of a violent crime. Their reactions were almost always the same. Shock, horror, fear, grief.
She looked up, her eyes wide. Haltingly, she spoke.
“I was asleep. Something woke me. I heard arguing. I thought it was Sheila and her boyfriend, Mark. Then it stopped.
“I couldn’t go back to sleep. I was worried about her. So I got up and went over to her place.”
Tears started slipping down her cheeks, tracks that spilled from eyes made even more brilliant blue from the saline. She wasn’t sobbing or making any noise at all as she told him what happened. She just cried. It was like a punch to Blane’s gut, and he was forcefully reminded of the supposed power of a woman’s tears over the opposite gender. He’d always thought himself immune.
Guess not.
*********************************************
If any of you guys have read my past reviews of The Kathleen Turner Series, then you know that I am a huge fan! Turn on a Dime is told from Blane’s POV and is the companion novel to the first book, so reading the first book in the series is a must.
Blane has always seemed distant, never willing to completely trust someone and so quick to believe he will be betrayed. He has a lot of appeal though, and it’s so easy to see why Kathleen falls for him. But I am not completely convinced he deserves her. Even though I am Team Kade, it was still nice to find out more about Blane. To see more of his past and how it shaped his present.
This story is a quick read, but very enjoyable. It definitely wet my appetite for Kade’s story and for book four, Out of Turn which releases on December 17, 2013. Four months is too long of a wait for me, but I know (really, really hope) that it will be hear before I know it!
Turning Point by Tiffany Snow
After her promotion from law firm Runner to Investigator, Kathleen Turner is learning the ropes of her new job from none other than assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon, a situation her boyfriend Blane Kirk is none too happy about. But the lessons with Kathleen take a back seat when Kade becomes a target. Previously untouchable, his enemies now know of the chink in his armor – his brother’s girlfriend.
And Kade’s not the only thing coming between Kathleen and Blane. From Blane's inexplicable defense of a man guilty of a horrible crime, to a mysterious stranger from Kathleen's past, to Kathleen' risky investigation into human traffickers, the obstacles mount against a relationship that's just begun to find trust again.
While Blane considers a job offer that would take him back to the front lines in the war on terror, Kathleen is determined to pursue her new career, with or without his approval. Unfortunately, her current case is far more dangerous than anyone knows. Someone close to Blane will go to extreme lengths to split them up, lengths that may prove worse than death for Kathleen.
Kathleen, Blane and Kade must atone for the sins of the past and the present. The fallout will force Kathleen to a turning point...in her career, and her life.
*******************************************
Turning Point, the third book in the Kathleen Turner series, finds Kat still trying to adjust to her private investigator position at the law firm, with Mr. Swoon worthy himself…Kade as her boss/trainer. Much to Blane’s dismay.
Kathleen’s investigation into a case for the law firm she works at puts her in an unexpected and risky situation. As she gets closer to finding the answers she is seeking, the danger gets closer to her. Her job as well as her relationship with both Blane and Kade reaches a turning point and when everything is said and done, things may never be the same for anyone again.
What I liked:
Kathleen is a woman who stands by her decisions. No matter how many times Kade tries to tempt her…and he tries a lot, she is firm with her answer. Though it is obvious she is conflicted in her feelings for him. They go beyond the feelings of just friendship. This is one love triangle, I do not mind enduring.
What I did not:
Even though I am rooting for Kade, I always give Blane the benefit of a doubt. His and Kat’s relationship seem to work and for the moment they seem good for each other. But Blane’s inability to confide in Kathleen and tell her things, especially things that actually involve her and are important annoys the heck out of me. It seems like he always feels like she does not need to know, or it won’t help anything if he tells her. Seeing as how they are in a relationship with each, trusting the other person, even a little bit is important. I know he has trust issues, but it still bugs me.
Final thoughts:
I feel like each book in this series, is better than last and I love that. The Kathleen Turner Series is one of my favorite romantic suspense books. It’s not perfect, but it is a lot of fun to read, there is real suspense, real characters, and something is always happening. The biggest downside is that I have to wait until December 17, 2013 for the fourth book, Out of Turn to be released. Ugh!
Rating: 5 out of 5.
Turn To Me by Tiffany A. Snow
 When Kathleen Turner, office runner for the prestigious Indianapolis law firm of Kirk & Trent, started dating the boss she knew the risks. Senior Partner Blane Kirk is known for being a notorious player - the Baskin Robbins of dating with a different flavor every month. Kathleen is the happiest she’s been in a long time, especially as Christmas approaches, but she’s always known there was a termination date on her relationship with Blane.
She just didn't expect that termination to be her funeral.
A festive afternoon of Christmas tree shopping turns life-threatening when Kathleen and Blane become targets for an unknown gunman. They make it home alive, but Kathleen realizes her boyfriend has been keeping secrets. The deadly kind.
Blane’s current case is drawing heated debate and stirring the pot of public fury. Kathleen is horrified by the threats – and worse – being directed at him. A former Navy SEAL stands accused of the wrongful death of an American citizen during a military operation overseas. The case has far-reaching political and military implications. Someone with a lot of money, and even more clout, wants Blane to lose.
As dead bodies of people connected to the defense start piling up, it becomes painfully obvious that disappearing witnesses and altered testimony are no longer enough for whoever is intent on guaranteeing the SEAL gets convicted. Kathleen and Kade, Blane’s brother and ex-FBI-agent-turned-assassin-for-hire, are on the trail of the killer.
Unfortunately for Kathleen, he’s already moved for the end-game – by painting a target on her...and pulling the trigger.
*******************************************
There is nothing like getting into the Christmas spirit by going Christmas tree shopping with your gorgeous lawyer boyfriend when it is snowing all around. That is until someone starts shooting at the two of you and you are ducking for cover. That's what happens to Kathleen Turner when her and Blane Kirk are out one day looking for a tree. It's then that Kathleen finds out that Blane's life as well as her own is in danger thanks to a major case that Blane is on that could end up making or breaking his political aspirations.
Never one to just sit on the sidelines, Kathleen is determined to possibly risk her life in order to find out the truth. Surrounded by people who lie as easily as they breathe makes things difficult for Kathleen when she is trying to discover who is telling the truth and who is out to hurt her.
What I liked:
Even though Kathleen ends up getting rescued more time that I care to count, she doesn't always need to be rescued by someone which is nice. She knows how to fend for herself in sticky situations…for the most part. And she is smarter than the men around her give her credit for.
What I did not like:
The fact that Kathleen has attacked, shot at, and basically put in harm’s way more times than I can count, she still hasn't learned to be cautious. There was one occasion when I was wondering why she would go anywhere by herself after everything that has happened and why would Kade be okay with it as well. That annoyed me a little bit.
Final thoughts:
This was one romantic suspense story that I easily got into. Between this book and the first book, I would have to say that I liked Turn to Me the best. There was never a dull moment. Something was always going on. And there was more of Kade in this book, which I loved. My only complaint is that I have to wait until February 19, 2013 for the release of Tiffany A. Snow’s third book in the Kathleen Turner series, “Turning Point”. I hope these next few weeks go by very quickly…
