Distortion begins on dramatic note when Juliet Cole
witnesses her husband being murdered in the parking lot of a moving van
company.
While Juliet and her
sons attempt to come to terms with his death a voicemail eludes to something
much more complicated than just murder.
It was easy to like
Juliet and get pulled into her life. She isn’t easily scared and is very
determined to find out the truth no matter what.
There are some aspects
of religion and faith in the story. It’s not so much were I felt overwhelmed by
it though. I liked it…and found it to be very appropriate in relation to the
story.
I am always up for a
good mystery/suspense story, so I was happy to read it. This story makes you question how well you
think you know someone. I mean what would you do if you found out the person
you love and devoted your whole life to was keeping secrets and telling lies? It’s
a hard issue to deal with I’m sure. I was very interested in finding out the
truth and the reasons behind everything.
