Lexi has finally given up her once destructive relationships and moved onto bigger and better things with a sexy new man in town. Just when she is starting to figure it out with him, her world is tilted once again with a phone call from none other than Ramsey Bridges. A year after his entrance into her life, Ramsey is trying to make amends and does the one thing she never expects—invites her to Jack's wedding.

The wedding she had evaded at all costs. But no matter what she does, Lexi can't seem to escape her past with Jack. But does she really want to?

Despite the explosive chemistry between Lexi and Ramsey, she is skeptical about trusting him after everything that has happened. When things are amiss with him, she starts questioning his motives. Can Ramsey be the one to remove Jack from Lexi's life permanently or should she move on with her blossoming new life?

So even though Lexie left Jack back in Atlanta, she finds herself still caught up in his drama. She is now seeing Ramsey and everything is going okay until she is invited to Jack’s wedding. For reasons beyond my understanding, she agrees to go despite the fact that it may be uncomfortable for her and could cause potential problems once she seems Jack again.
I do love Ramsey. I don’t completely trust him when it comes to Lexie, but I think he maybe be better suited for her than Jack. Jack and Lexie have this weird connection with each other and it can be difficult figuring him out.

Lexie is smart...well I am going to assume that she is smart, since she is becoming a lawyer. But she is incredibly stupid when it comes to Jack. Like a moth to a flame. Sure he is hot, and charming, and knows her better than anyone, but after she’s been hurt majorly by him several times in the past, I don’t get why she stills finds herself attracted to him. It is beyond frustrating!
But that is why I love this series. There are always surprises along the way and Lexie’s journey is bound to be an emotional ride until the end. I couldn’t seem to tear myself away from this story and the characters. They pretty much all brought something to the table. Just like before, K.A. Linde knows how write a story that get’s me emotionally invested in the characters and how everything will play out.

RATING: 4½ out of 5.
