Put
a hot domineering detective and a sweet and spunky cupcake baker together and
the result equals one amazingly fun and sexy romance novel.
I don’t think there
is really anything that I could say that would do this book justice. Expect….I.
loved. It.
The whole time I was reading, I had this stupid goofy grin on my face. A prime example of how much I was enjoying the story. So glad I wasn't out in public reading because people would have thought I was a nut.
Once
Nic and Matt spend a steamy night together, neither one of them can easily
forget the experience. And it isn’t long before their paths cross again and
they try to decide how far to take things.
Matt
knows that he isn’t willing to let Nic walk away and he becomes super
determined to convince her that he is the man for her. Even though Nic has
feelings for Matt, she still isn’t 100% sure how things will work out. But what
she does know is that, she hasn’t felt like this in a long time, and the
chemistry between her and Matt is scorching hot. These two fall fast and hard
for each other, and it was fun to read every step of their journey together.

When I'm reading a book that I begin to fall in love with, I can devour it very quickly. But sometimes....sometimes I like a book so much that I want to take my time and savor it. Not wanting it to end. That is how I felt when I read Tied with Me.

Plus
the book is told in both Matt and Nic’s point of views, which I appreciated. It’s
always nice to know what both parties in a romance are thinking. It was a
combination of the great writing, sexy romance, and awesome characters that
really made this story stand out against any romance book I have read this
year. If the rest of Kristen Proby’s
books are like this one then count me in!
